Dr. Jean Tuggey
Dr. Jean Tuggey received her dental hygiene degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. Soon after graduation, she moved with her family from the New York area to Dallas where she worked in the Highland Park area as a dental hygienist. After three years as a hygienist, Dr. Tuggey decided to return to dental school to complete her doctorate degree in dentistry.
In 1985, Dr. Tuggey completed her degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She and her husband, Matt, returned to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to begin her career as one of the first female dentists in Northeast Tarrant County.
Dr. Tuggey was recently featured in Texas Super Dentists magazine as one of Texas’ best dentists in the area!
Through the years, Dr. Tuggey has successfully managed and maintained one of the premier dental practices in the area, although she reserves most of the praise for her experienced staff of professionals and “the best patients in the world”. She was awarded the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. The Fellowship is a very respected distinction that few dentists earn. Additionally, the Consumers’ Research Council of America chose Dr. Tuggey as one of ‘America’s Top Dentists’. Dr. Tuggey recognizes the importance of her obligation to stay informed and up to date with the latest in the field of dentistry. The entire staff regularly attends continuing education opportunities to keep up with new trends and technology in our profession.
Dr. Tuggey’s hobbies include outdoor activities, projects around the house and keeping up with her two daughters, Lindsay and Leslie.
Dr. Jennette Olson
Dr. Jennette Olson has been practicing dentistry for 18 years. She graduated from Lewisville High School and then earned a Biology degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Olson completed her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 1995 earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She was awarded the distinguished award of Excellence in Clinical Dentistry upon graduation. Jennette owned her own practice in Austin, TX until 2001 when she sold it to be able to spend more time with her family. Since then she has worked with a number of dentists and done volunteer dental work.
Dr. Olson and her husband live in Westlake, Texas with their four children. She enjoys watching her boys play basketball and her daughter compete in cheerleading competitions. She also enjoys biking, running, cooking, gardening, and reading. Dr. Olson’s commitment to dental health and education has led her to join several professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Olson also volunteers her time at Dental Health Arlington to help the underprivileged in the DFW area. She also recently participated in dental mission trips to Costa Rica and Nicaragua in 2012.
Dr. Elise Pruett
Dr. Pruett is originally from Coppell, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in College Station. Dr. Pruett then went on to complete her education at Baylor College of Dentistry in May 2013 where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, American Association of Women Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Pruett couldn’t be more excited to be apart of such a wonderful team, and is looking forward to a career of treating patients one smile at a time.
Dr. Pruett and her husband, Trent, have been happily married for three years and currently reside in the DFW area. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, spending time outdoors, and playing with her dog, Scruffy. Dr. Pruett is also very involved with her church. She is the founder of the Young Adults Group, and currently serves as a class leader.
Dr. Lindsey Brown
Dr. Brown is a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas, where she remained and attended the University of Arkansas. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, Dr. Brown moved to Dallas, Texas to continue her education at the Baylor College of Dentistry. Upon receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013 she moved to Keller, Texas, which she now calls home. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, American Association of Women Dentists and the Academy of General Dentists.
Dr. Brown has recently joined the team at Cosmetic and Family Dentistry of North Texas and is looking forward to brightening smiles in the Fort Worth area. Dr. Brown enjoys many aspects of dentistry, including esthetic and cosmetic procedures that can best serve her patients. In her free time she enjoys cooking, spending time with family, traveling, and supporting the Arkansas Razorbacks.
